All orders are dispatched from Bacteria Books, Byron Bay, Australia.

All online orders are processed and shipped within 3-5 business days. Please allow for additional processing time during peak sales periods such as promotional launches, sample sales, or pre-Christmas periods.

Any online orders containing pre-order styles will be processed and dispatched in full without split shipments as soon as they become available. Order fulfilment will commence from the date specified on the relevant pre-order product page and may be subject to delays.

All Australia and international deliveries will be shipped with Australia Post.

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout and may vary.

Non-signature parcels are sent at the buyer's risk. Please ensure that the courier has a safe place to leave your parcel if you will not be home to receive it in person. By selecting a non-signature service, the recipient acknowledges that parcel leave authority has been provided to the carrier. Regrettably, neither Bacteria Books nor the carrier can provide refunds or replacements for goods that have been lost, damaged or stolen after being successfully delivered.

In the event of a redirection back to the sender due to failed delivery at no fault of the sender, additional shipping costs and import fees required for the return to sender will be charged to the receiver. Any refunds issued in association with such redirections will be made less any freight on export, freight on re-import, customs taxes, duties, fees and charges. Any re-shipment of returned orders will incur an additional shipping cost.

Pre-orders

For forthcoming or temporarily out of stock titles, Bacteria Books will list the pre-order status in the product title and at the top of the product description, and give an estimate for when the book is due to arrive with us from the publisher.

Please note that the given timeframes are estimates only. We rely on information provided to us by publishers, distributors, printers, and freight companies to make these timeframes. Bacteria Books endeavours to give the most accurate timeframe possible, but delivery times can be subject to delays – be it printing, shipping or customs delays – that are outside of our control.

Pre-orders are subject to the same conditions as regular sales. We do not offer refunds for change of mind, but can issue a store credit or exchange if you would like to cancel your pre-order. We are always happy to make suggestions for replacement titles!

On the rare occasion that a title is no longer able to be supplied, Bacteria Books will arrange a refund, exchange, or store credit for the order.

Subscriptions

When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select. 
Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries, unless you choose to pay in advance.
Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don't want to renew a subscription you can cancel it.
If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there.
